Privacy Policy

1. What this policy covers

This policy explains what happens to your data when you visit gptpayer.online and use its tools. It applies to this website only.

2. Your files

The PDF and image tools (Merge PDF, Compress Image, Rotate PDF, and the rest of the working tools listed on the homepage) run client-side, using JavaScript libraries loaded into your browser. The file you choose is read, transformed, and offered back to you as a download — all inside your browser tab. gptpayer does not receive, store, view, or have any access to the contents of files you process with these tools.

Translate PDF is the one exception. That tool still reads your PDF entirely in your browser, but it sends the extracted text, in chunks, to a free public translation API to get it translated — your original file is never sent anywhere. No other tool on the site makes any request that includes your file's content.

3. Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics (GA4) to understand overall traffic — things like which pages get visited, roughly where visitors are located (country/city level, not precise address), device type, and how long people stay. This is aggregated, anonymized-where-possible usage data; it is not linked to the contents of any file you process with the tools, since those never leave your browser in the first place. Google Analytics may set cookies and use your IP address to generate this data, under Google's own privacy policy. This site does not ask you to create an account, log in, or submit any personal information to use the tools.

4. Advertising

This site shows ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technology to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites, and to measure ad performance. You can see or opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, and you can learn more about how Google uses data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Ads are served independently of the file-processing tools — the two never share data, since the tools don't send anything to a server in the first place.

5. Third-party resources loaded by this page

To render fonts and run the conversion libraries, your browser loads a small number of files from third-party content delivery networks. These providers may log standard technical information (such as your IP address and browser type) as part of serving that content, under their own privacy policies:

• Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com) — used to load the site's typefaces.
• cdnjs / Cloudflare (cdnjs.cloudflare.com) — used to load the open-source pdf-lib, pdf.js, and JSZip libraries that power the tools.
• MyMemory Translation API (api.mymemory.translated.net) — used only by the Translate PDF tool, to translate text you've chosen to translate. No other tool contacts this or any other API.

These requests happen the same way they would for any website that uses public CDNs. gptpayer does not control, and is not responsible for, the data-handling practices of these third parties.

6. Cookies

This site itself does not set its own tracking cookies. Google Analytics and Google AdSense, described above, do set cookies as part of how those services work — you can control or clear these through your browser's cookie settings at any time, or opt out of personalized ads via the link in Section 4. Some tools may briefly use your browser's temporary memory to hold a file while it's being processed; nothing about the file itself is written to persistent storage on gptpayer's end.

7. Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.

8. Changes to this policy

If gptpayer adds features that change how data is handled — for example, an account system or server-side processing for a future tool — this page will be updated with a new "last updated" date before that feature goes live.
