Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between Contain and Cover fit?
Contain keeps the whole image visible with letterboxing if needed. Cover fills the target dimensions by cropping the image. Stretch ignores aspect ratio and fills exactly.
Can I resize images larger than the original?
Yes, you can scale up. However, enlarging images beyond their original size will reduce quality since no new pixel data is created — the browser interpolates the missing detail.
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. Everything runs in your browser using the HTML5 Canvas API. No server upload, no data storage — 100% private.
What formats can I output?
You can output the same format as the input, or convert to JPEG, PNG, or WebP during the resize operation.
