Frequently Asked Questions

What page range formats are supported?
You can use individual page numbers (1,3,7), ranges with a dash (5-10), or any mix of both (1,3,5-8,12). Spaces around commas are ignored. Pages will be extracted in the order you specify them.
Does extraction change the page quality?
No. Pages are copied exactly as-is from the original PDF using pdf-lib. All fonts, images, and vector content are preserved at 100% original quality.
Can I extract pages in a different order than the original?
Yes! If you enter "5,3,1" the output PDF will have page 5 first, then page 3, then page 1 — you control the output order by how you type the range.
What is the "Separate PDFs" option?
Each extracted page becomes its own individual PDF file. All files are zipped into a single archive for easy download. Useful when you need each page as a standalone document.

PDF Page Extractor — When You Need It

PDF page extraction is one of the most common PDF tasks. Whether you need to pull a contract signature page, extract one chapter from a report, or split off odd/even pages for duplex printing — this tool handles it all with precision.

💡 Reorder while extracting

Enter pages in any order to simultaneously extract and reorder. Type "10,1,2" to put page 10 first — no separate reorder step needed.

💡 Duplicate pages in output

Type "1,1,2,2" to include the same page twice in your output PDF. Useful for creating double-sided print-ready layouts.

💡 Extract for review packages

When sharing confidential reports, extract only the relevant pages rather than the full document — reducing exposure of sensitive information.

💡 Check page count first

Unsure how many pages the PDF has? Drop it in — the tool instantly shows the total count before you enter any range, so you can extract with confidence.
