Frequently Asked Questions

Will my passport photo meet official requirements?
Our tool outputs photos at the exact pixel dimensions required by each country's standard at 300 DPI. However, passport photo requirements also include lighting, head position, and expression — which depend on your original photo. Always check your country's official guidelines.
How does the background replacement work?
Click "Click to Sample BG" then tap on the background area of your photo. The tool uses a flood-fill algorithm to replace all connected pixels of a similar color with your chosen background color. Adjust the Tolerance slider if the fill is too aggressive or not enough.
What does the Print Sheet option do?
It generates a full 4×6 inch (or A4) canvas populated with multiple copies of your passport photo — exactly how professional photo labs print them. This lets you print at any pharmacy or photo center and cut out individual photos.
Is my photo uploaded anywhere?
No. All processing happens entirely in your browser using the HTML5 Canvas API. Your photo never leaves your device and is never sent to any server.
