Frequently Asked Questions

What does "Scale to Fit" mean?
Scale to Fit scales the page content proportionally so it fits entirely within the new page size without any cropping. There may be white space on the sides or top/bottom depending on the aspect ratio.
Can I resize only certain pages?
Currently the tool resizes all pages uniformly. Uncheck "Apply to all pages" to resize only the first page — per-page selection is coming in a future update.
Will it change the content of my PDF?
The visual content is scaled or repositioned according to your chosen scaling mode. No text or image data is removed — only the canvas dimensions and content transform change.
Is custom size in mm or pixels?
The custom dimension inputs use millimeters (mm), which are converted internally to PDF points (1 mm = 2.835 pt) for precise, print-ready output.
Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
No — all processing is done locally in your browser using PDF-lib. Your document never leaves your device.
