Frequently Asked Questions

What is error correction level?
Error correction allows QR codes to be read even when partially damaged or obscured. Level L allows up to 7% data recovery, M up to 15%, Q up to 25%, and H up to 30%. Higher levels make the QR code denser. Use H if you plan to add a logo overlay on the QR code.
How many QR codes can I generate at once?
There is no hard limit. You can add as many batch entries as you need. Performance depends on your device, but generating 50–100 QR codes at once is typically fast and smooth.
Are my URLs or WiFi passwords stored anywhere?
No. All QR code data is encoded locally in your browser using the QRCode.js library. Nothing you enter is ever transmitted to a server or stored anywhere outside your browser tab.
Can I use colored QR codes? Will they scan reliably?
Yes, colored QR codes work well as long as there is sufficient contrast between the foreground (dark) and background (light). Avoid using light colors for the QR modules or dark backgrounds — always maintain a high contrast ratio for reliable scanning.
